Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel was a British actor who gained notoriety for her character Missandei on HBO's fantasy epic "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-19). Emmanuel, who was born in and was raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's seaside resort she has always had a keen interest in performing. Nathalie started taking singing, acting, as well as dancing classes at 3 years of age. Her parents were immediately thrilled. Emmanuel was a skilled actor, who was developing rapidly. At the close in the 1990s, she performed the role of an infant Nala in "The Lion King,"" the West End musical which has received acclaim. Emmanuel tried out for roles on TV and film when she was a teenager. In 2007, she got her first major role when she portrayed Sasha Valentine in the British soap opera Hollyoaks (Channel 4 from 1995 to). Emmanuel acted in the role for four seasons. She then quit the series in 2010. Emmanuel was given her first break in the year following after she was signed in the role of Missandei in HBO's Game of Thrones. She as Daenerys's interpreter (played by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel continued to be a part of each seasons of HBO's "Game of Thrones" up to the end of the season in May 2019.
