LeonaLeona Louise Lewis, born on April 3, 1985. It is an actor, singer, and activist from Britain. Her birthplace was in the London Borough Of Islington she went to the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Croydon. Lewis achieved national recognition in the final season of The X Factor in 2006 and was awarded an PS1 million recording deal with Syco Music. The single she won, which was a cover Kelly Clarkson's track "A Moment Like This" had 50,000 downloads within 30 minutes and peaked at first place for the duration of four weeks. Clive Davis, Lewis's American record label J Records signed Lewis a five-album contract in February of 2007. The artist's popularity grew with the album release of her debut studio album, Spirit (2007), that was certified platinum 10x in the UK and was subsequently the fourth-highest-selling album of the decade and among the top-selling albums of UK chart history. As per the Official Charts Company, Spirit is the most-sold debut album of an artist of female origin during the 21st century. The lead single, "Bleeding Love", spent seven weeks at number first in UK and was the highest-selling single of 2007. In the US, it was the top-selling single in the year and Lewis was named the Best New Artist by Billboard in the same year. She debuted Echo in 2009 and made "I See You" The film's theme song. Lewis also dropped "Collide" in 2011as a joint effort together with Swedish DJ Avicii. The album also came out as Hurt an EP that was her debut play that was extended. Glassheart (2012) came out as Lewis' 3rd studio album. It was an exciting new style. Lewis draws inspiration from electronic and dubstep music. The Glassheart Tour was in the middle of 2013 when she started recording material to create her first Christmas album. The album Christmas, With Love was released in late 2013. The album's opening track One More Sleep was a top 3 hit within the UK. In the wake of this chart, Lewis made history as the only British female artist in the top five with eight songs, beating Olivia Newton-John's record set by seven.
