Even though she's created her name as a solo artist from Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be best remembered as an ABBA member as one of the biggest popular and commercially profitable pop acts of all time. She quit school to pursue music at the age of fifteen and quickly gained popularity. Enghardt secured her a contract with a record contract and she soon reached the high end of the Swedish charts when she released her first single. The singer got engaged, and then got married to Bjorn Ulvaeus. They was a part of the group the group 'ABBA'. ABBA was one of top pop stars throughout the world over the time period of 8 years. The group won gold and Platinum awards around all over the world. Post-ABBA her three albums -'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' Eyes of a Woman and 'I stand alone'. All with great success in Sweden as well as gaining popularity in Europe also, yet did not make a huge impact in the U.S. The '80s wound to a close her career took an officially-resigned retirement. ABBA was featured in an jukebox series called 'Mamma Mia! '. Her album 'My Coloring Books was a huge success, reaching eleven on the UK charts in the year she had come out of retirement. Her latest Album 'A', has also received positive reviews.
